Through the e-Sata and USB 2.0 Direct Access port it’s possible to record into an external e-Sata or USB hard disk up to 2 TB (Terabyte/2000GB) or in a USB Pen. All the made videorecordings can be transferred to the computer and they can be edited using the most popular softwares in order to eliminate the advertising or the useless sequences and can be burned into a DVD/BluRay.

All the recorded programs can be seen anytime, without any problems of time or use. Simply pressing a key it’s possible to start a recording (OTR) and to choose the duration, with the Timer to plan the programs to record and to create your own TV palimpsest (single events, daily and weekly). It allows you to simultaneously record 2 satellite and digital terrestrial, see a previous recording while recording another program or, just in case, to stop temporarily the sight of the live program and, later to continue the sight such as it has never been interrupted.

Complete, easy and fast
The management of all the functions is extremely fast, simple and intuitive, thanks to the multi languages OSD (On Screen Display) menu and the EPG (Electronic Programs Guide) with PIP (Picture in Picture) function. You can optimize your vision direct channels and playback of recordings. It’s possible to see the previews of 6 channels. Switching from one channel to another is practically instantaneous. All the functions are managed by the supplied remote control.

Thousand of channels constantly updated
All that can be received through the dual tuner can be tuned and if a new TV or radio broadcasting station starts broadcasting or if an existing broadcasting station changes satellite or channel, it will be immediately saved, in real time, by activating the Hardware BlindScan function.

A firmware that can be always updated, a product always new
The firmware setting’s update is easy and fast, because it is done through the USB 2.0 port and, so, avoiding the connection to a computer.

Multimedia
MediaBox HD is not only a digital video recorder but integrates numerous multimedia applications because it can play videos in all popular formats, including those at high definition, photos, mp3, directly from an external e-Sata or USB 2.0 device (such as hard disks, USB Pen Drive, camera or digital camera).

A net for everything, a net for everybody
The MediaBox HD also incorporates the MediaLan function that allows you to share all the video made or stored files (video, audio, photos) with other MediaBox (ST-2 HD or ST-3 HD), Digital Box HD, MegaBox HD, computer or notebook in the other rooms. The network can be realized via cable Ethernet LAN port or with modules Jepssen JPL Powerline inserted into existing electrical sockets.

SP/DIF digital output, all another music
Connected to the hi-fi system, trough the SP/DIF digital output, it allows to enjoy the absolute quality and the spectacularity of the sound in Dolby Digital AC3.

Compatible with any equipment
The MediaBox HD fits to any installation’s need being fully compatible with any fixed or motorized (DiSEqC, USALS) equipment and those with single or centralized digital terrestrial.
