MegaBox HD allows you to receive the new TV and Radio broadcasters via the Internet (IPTV) and ensures high-speed navigation essential for the use of new multimedia content, management of electronic mail (e-mail) and the functions of video communication (Msn, Skype , video phone, video conferencing, etc.) and video remote control.

One only net for audio, video, internet, software and data
MegaBox HD is also the ideal solution for a total sharing of resources with all the family's component. The audio and the video, the Internet connection and any file, are shared using the JPL PowerLine modules inserted in the wall sockets of the existing electric system or through the WLan modules that transmit by air on any television set or computers existing in the rooms.

The processing of all the functions is no cable, through the remote control and/or the 2,4GHz Wi-Fi wireless multimedia optical trackball keyboard (till a distance of 10 meters 360°). In the frequent use MegaBox HD keeps in Stand-By mode and it can be turned on/off in a few seconds trough the remote control or the keyboard. Turning on/off can be programmed trough Timer function.

From videotape to Blu-Ray, turn the videorecordings from analog to digital
Connecting the videocamera or the videorecorder to the MegaBox HD, it’s possible to transfer in a quick and simple way, the content of the videotapes directly in the hard disk, turning them in digital (Mpeg-2/Mpeg-4 H.264, etc.) and then, if it’s necessary, can be burned into a DVD/BluRay, avoiding the quick wear and tear of the traditional magnetic tapes and obtaining a better audio/video fidelity, steady in the time.

Many connections are foreseen in the MegaBox HD’s frontal panel and rear panel: Sat Antenna, Terrestrial TV Antenna, Radio FM Antenna, Microphone and Headset input, USB 3.0 ports, RS-232 ports and audio and video inputs/outputs (HDMI, DVI, RCA, S-Video, SCART, etc.). Moreover, it can be equipped with hard disk mobile rack and LCD front panel in order to check all the main functions of the system and in order to monitor and adjust the temperature and the ventilation.
